The Ancient World created many of the inventions which have contributed to the progress of civilization. Which Ancient Civilization contributed the most to our modern lifestyle?

This is a unit of work within the Essential Learnings Framework.

Students will understand that ancient society has influenced our modern one.
Students will learn more about major events and people in history.
Students will learn to research with a specific purpose.
Students will co-operate with a larger group to produce a whole team effort.
Students will learn some debating skills.
