AN ORFORD PRIMARY SCHOOL*/COASTCARE PROJECT 
 
    The Eastern Barred Bandicoot is a small marsupial which,  although almost extinct on mainland Australia, lives in large numbers around the Orford area of Tasmania.
    This site documents curriculum activities and work conducted by Orford Primary School and Coastcare to help secure the bandicoots' future.
