| Mrs Read was very
lucky to have a whole school assembly in her honour. Not only
were there speeches, presents and an enormous card,
but there
were personalised merit certificates and an original song performed by
the whole school. She was inducted into the
"Orford Primary School Life Members' Group"
and officially presented with her seagull badge. The
organisers were so thoughtful that they even wrote a speech
for her to read! |

| At the
end-of-term staff dinner, there was the usual excellent and extremely
witty company, and the equivalent of five presents in one! (If
you can see past the gorgeous handbagS, you will notice that
Mrs Read is wearing her
new jewellery as well). |

There
were some after school celebrations on Thursday. Mrs
Read was presented with some very handy presents, and given
a good "send-up" as well as send-off. An excellent
time was had by all! You might recognise some
familiar faces of ex-staff members. |

On
Friday afternoon, following the end of term picnic at "Our
Park", a crowd gathered in the school grounds for the
final moments of excitement. The purple helicopter had come
to take Mrs Read away! |
